Inspired by my late grandfather, when he said to me: “You’re like a swan: cool, calm and collected on the surface, but paddling hard underneath”. This image to date remains one of my favourite pieces I have ever created. It was featured in Capture Magazine’s ‘The Annual’ edition in 2014, in the student category, and is on permanent exhibition at the 2 Girls Building in Abbotsford, and Tintern Grammar in Ringwood East.
